Instructions

Laver and soak toor dal in approx. 3 Tasses of water, for at least one hours

Dal will be double in volume after soaking

Égoutter the water.

Cuire dal with 2-1/2 Tasses water and Ajouter Sel, turmeric, on medium high Chauffer, until soft in texture (approximately 30 mins) it should be like thick soup.

In a frying pan, Chauffer the ghee

Ajouter cumin seeds, and mustard seeds

After the seeds crack, Ajouter bay leaves, green chili, ginger and chili powder

Remuer for a few seconds.

Ajouter tomatoes, Sel and Sucre Remuer and Cuire until tomatoes are tender and mushy.

Ajouter cilantro and garam masala Cuire for about one minute.

Verser the seasoning over dal Mélanger it well and Cuire for another minute.

Servir with Naan.
